Polish Coat of Arms
The image of the coat of arms is a copy from the documents confirming the nobility issued by the Tsarist Commission on December 6, 1815. An element from the family saga, according to which flames burst from the heart, was added to it.
The coat of arms differs in form from the description made by Niesiecki in his coat of arms. „A human heart pierced through the middle, sideways and upturned, so torn that the two parts barely hold each other, in a red field, above the helmet and the crown, three ostrich feathers.
It often happened that the heraldry committee erroneously wrote and illustrated coats of arms in documents which were issued in order to confirm Polish nobility.
